I am a mother, writer, and community organizer who enjoys the rural Upstate New York life and all the activities that come with it – hiking, splitting wood, etc. – and keeping a house full of family and friends. I met Emilie Conrad in 2006 at the Omega Institute when my daughter was a baby and have been participating in Continuum ever since. Currently I engage in a monthly class with Elaine Colandrea in New Paltz, NY, where I am privileged to explore the realm of sensation and wonder.
How does Continuum Movement inform my creative work?
For me, Continuum reveals life as poetry through its gifts of sound, breath and sensation. With these gifts I become a greater witness of myself and others, and I creatively engage with our evolving planet. I wish for my work to reflect these elements of Continuum, and to likewise evoke a connected experience of the body and soul.
